This makes perfect sense to literally anyone considering the matter in good faith, which most LSU fans seem incapable of doing.

So what you're actually saying is that ole piss fans are just mad because their HC decided to not only leave for another job, but a job at LSU.

The only reason Lane isn't coaching thru the CFP is because of OM... not LSU.

The level of Ole Miss fans' Lane Derangement Syndrome up in here is off the charts. Rebs, go touch grass or something.

I don’t understand why LSU fans struggle with the concept that this is about Lane and not LSU.

I understand why the coaches went to LSU. I don’t give a frick about LSU. Why is it that seemingly the only coaches that were under duress were from the offensive side of the ball? Why would Pete Golding tell them all to get the frick out? Or Keith? Ahead of a playoff run? This isn’t about the institutions. It’s about Lane.

I mean he’s the one who tried to blackmail them into leaving in the first place. Ole Miss didn’t give assistants any ultimatum. Sounds like he got his feelings hurt when people called him an a-hole. Like the petulant child he is.

no no no. He's a benevolent king.

You're not arguing in good faith. All facts considered, the only reason Lane isn't coaching thru the CFP is because of Lane.

Everyone from national media to sports writers/bloggers all agree that OM couldn’t let Lane keep coaching but somehow LSU fans(who are COMPLETELY unbiased ) are the only ones who are right.

Well the fact that he isn't coaching in the CFP is because Ole Miss was scared that the LSU coach would have the reigns. If he had gone to PSU, he'd be coaching. It's 100% about where he went.

So you’re saying that Lane made a decision to go to a certain institution and it affected him. LSU as an institution did nothing wrong. He made a choice to go to a direct competitor.

LSU said they'd pay him CFP bonus money from an Ole Miss win.
And all his assistants that move over too.

Kind of like when I take a new gig and tell them - hey, I have 4 weeks vacation at my current job, you don't expect me to start over with 1 week with you guys - so they give me 4 weeks vacation.

It's called negotiating, happens every day. What's your point?

Right, but LSU is WHY they won't let him coach.

Had he gone to Florida, same result. It’s not about LSU.

Lane Kiffin took Ole Miss from being a bottom-feeder to the top of the SEC, and yet the retards from Ole Miss are trying to make him the worst thing to happen. Ole Miss is lucky to have had him as a coach, and he left you in the best place you have ever been

Well there you go - no reason for Kiffin to be so upset that everyone is just listening to Saban.
