Ole Miss has traditionally not pulled ratings to justify prime kickoffs because you haven’t been consistently big and don’t have a large national following.
If it were up to me there would be one 11AM KO each week in the SEC, one afternoon KO and everyone else would be at night.
But it’s not up to me because I’m not paying the conference billions to broadcast the games.
It’s money. Yesterday, today and tomorrow it’s about generating revenue and the moment you generate more revenue than LSU or Bama you’ll be playing at night in primetime.
Hell had you not lost at LSU and/or against UK you’d be the night KO.
But you can’t drop two games early and complain you aren’t the premier game of the weekend any more than Bama could against TN after losing to Vandy.

Kiffin still has to recruit his program and it's easier to sell a wild night game. I am with Kiffin on this. They can do the NFL method of giving each team a primetime SEC game if they tried hard enough.

Omiss is not LSU or Bama! It is not a national brand whatsoever! Then you add the mystic of Tiger Stadium at night( which Kiffin has experienced): not happening .
