People that weren't alive then can't understand how that song took over the airwaves.

They opened for the Rolling Stones Steel Wheels tour and sounded awesome.

Yeah agree with you reluctantly because I so want to believe in the pure heart, like the martyrs of my faith.

Do they consciously wield their power or is it a calling that guides them? A higher power independent of them?

All great leaders do build it and use it but consciously or not?

Never mind we are crossing lines. Politicians, prophets, frauds, charlatans, spiritual leaders, good Samaritans, etc./.

Simple answer is some people just have an it factor that makes people follow them for whatever reason... That is the cult of personality.

Right on. Yep. That’s why he mixed the evil and good in the song.

And I would also say both of us are right in our original premise. It is the intentional and the unintentional.

For whatever reason, people just follow them because they have the it factor, whether intentional or intentional.
I do believe still, that some are unintentional, and I most certainly obviously believe that most are intentional.

And when you said, “That is the cult of personality”, due to the holiday season, I couldn’t help but also hear on the end of it, “…Charlie Brown”.

Haha. Happy Thanksgiving man. Hope you and yours have many thanks this season.

Certainly, may be unintentional in the beginning but that doesn't last long as absolute power corrupts them
