Ole Miss has never recruited as well as LSU or any number of other SEC teams. This isn't rocket science.
It has nothing to do with what happened 200 years ago or during the 60's or any other time. It's just that Ole Miss doesn't recruit on the same level as some other SEC teams, for various reasons having nothing to do with gradma's and grandpa's. Give me a fricking break.
So, you're saying there are no recruits that would have went to Ole Miss, if not for their grandparent's opinion?

I'm sure there are maybe a couple of players that feel like Kiffens was the plantation owner for 6 entire years that he stayed there while apparently knowing that he was at the head of an institution that promoted racism yet never peeped a single word in protest.
And, I'm also sure there may be a player or two that is now agreeing with Kiffens that Ole Miss treats black players like slaves and doesn't respect blacks and they feel like Ole Miss has too many white players.
There are always going to be race hustlers.
My concern is that if Kiffens really thought so negatively of Ole Miss, why did he continue to be bascially the Grand Wizard of Oxford for 6 entire years?
It's not plausible that someone who now claims to care so deeply and passionately about racial inequalites at Ole Miss, willingly took millions of dollars earned off the sweat, tears, and anguish of the black people he oversaw on the team.
He apparently didn't give one shite about any of it as he willingly lead the institution that he now condemns for over half a decade.
Many things lead to Ole Miss and their lack of extreme success at recruiting. Lack of recent success, location, facilities not the very best of the best, no good name recognition from sustained success over the decades, poor coaching hires including Kiffens, etc...
Not because Grandma and Grandpa of recruits say they don't like the whites down there and have nightmares of the '60's, Colonel Reb, and the Rebel Flag.
Now Kiffens is saying what? That the grandparents of recruits at LSU are telling him they like the diversity at LSU and that is why LSU recruits well?
You need to learn how to tell when you are being led around by the nose like a gullible sucker by a greasy, attention hungry, conman.

I didn't read this massive waste of time, just answer the question.

Do you think Kiffens should resign from his postition at LSU now, considering how he now says he led a team like Ole Miss that doesn't support blacks for 6 years?
I wouldn't want a person like that to be the coach at Alabama, one who compromises his high principles so willingly just for cash.

He didn't say that, you just can't read.

Sure he did. He claims he couldn't recruit well because of his acceptance and promotion of policies and a general atmosphere in Oxford that black recruits and their extended family say made them feel less than and awkward and out of place.
The money he earned while knowing how young black men trying to join the team were being made to feel is shameful money earned in a shameful way.
What a bastard.

A perception of said atmosphere. Kiffin never said Oxford was actually racist or anything, he said the families of some recruits felt that way.

From his comments, it appears as though he worked to change that perception. He brought a lot of young, black men to Oxford anyway, and paid them a lot of money.

It’s a good theory, he’s definitely an attention whore, but I’m betting being a coaches son he was around football and his dad a lot.

Yep.

It wasn't just a perception though because Kiffens willingly admitted that recruiting suffered because of it. Maybe it was a real perceptiion? Apparently something was real because Kiffens said recruitment definitely suffered because of "whatever it was".

Or, old overseer same as the new overseer with Kiffens being the new overseer. Blacks have always came to Oxford to play football. Before Kiffens arrived, the percentage of blacks on the team was around 90%. It's was around 90% black when he coached the team. It's still about 90% black. And they were getting paid before Kiffens arrived too.
Are you trying to make a point? You don't seem to have a valid one right now.

Okay, it's clear you definitely can't read now.
I should open some Learing Centers for you folks.

Let's review:
Upon leaving Ole Miss after six very lucrative seasons, Kiffens finally discovers that Ole Miss was a dangerous, backward, hate filled, and intimidating place for black recruits to attempt to come to.
He would have immediately left if he had known then what he knows now. He discovered all this after suddenly having a moment of clarity and remembering the many conversations he had with recruits and their grandparents.
They and their grandparents told Kiffens repeatedly, over many years, that Ole Miss was just stupid racist and they didn't like the "feel" of Oxford the city or the college there.
Kiffens didn't really understand fully what they were trying to say though, until all the money he was owed from Ole Miss was secure.
Now he knows how it was and guess what, he didn't like it one bit and likes LSU a lot better.
Keep sucking up what Kiffens is putting out. He loves LSU and LSU loves him and it will always be that way.

Nope, you keep saying this, but no one said Oxford is dangerous or any of the rest.
Learn to read.

Yep, until he loses and/or leaves.

But they did say that Kiffens was the bossman at the head of a football empire in Oxford that made them and their grandparents feel kind of uneasy due to ancient history and maybe they didn't want to play there because of that.
I know Kiffens couldn't change history, or stop accepting large amounts of money no matter if the money is likely coming from descendants of slave owners and kinfolk of the segregation enforcers of the '60's, but he could have made blacks feel a little more comfortable in Oxford.
He was part of the problem, in reality.

Why did Kiffens let Dart play QB? Was there not a qualified black player on the team? Kiffens is not as innocent as he is playing.

It blows my mind after all these years - people still take the Altie hook.

I don't have as much experience with Altie.
Is he actually dumb or does he just pretend to be for attention?

There is no need for that type of comment, Sidewalk. I enjoy talking to you here and it seems like we have a lot to talk about.
Now I see you insulting me for no reason at all and calling me Altie again. That's rude.
