Kiffin also took aim at Alabama coach Nick Saban and suggested that Saban should "thank" new Tennessee assistant Lance Thompson for the Crimson Tide's No. 2-ranked class. Thompson was one of Saban's best recruiters at Alabama before leaving to join the Tennessee staff in January.

Thompson even got into the act and assured the crowd that Saban wasn't going to get another one of his players.

Thanks for all the great work for us while you were here Lance.

Now that you're at UT, go die in a fire.

Its not personal, its business.

Kiffen is making friends in the sec. I guarantee you that urban will try to put up at least 80 points on their asses this season. Florida will be up by 60 and urban will still have tebow in throwing the ball. Kiffen is one arrogant piece of shite and will get what he deserves

Arent most coaches against bulletin board material? Kiffen is sending a message to his players that it's ok to talk smack publicly.

He's not making ANY friends and that may be fine by him, but when he travels around the SEC, teams are going to treat it like the MNC game every time.

I'm interested in what the UT fans feel about Kiffen and his antics. Sure, some coaches dont always see eye to eye, but he's taking it to a new level and trying to bully people around in the SEC.

I, for one, cant wait until the Viles come to Ttown. Should be fun to see him travel to Gainsville next year also...

Kiffen looks like he is slowly taking the "biggest douchebag in the SEC" title away from Urban Meyer...not quite there yet, but he's almost..

Yeah, yeah...Rivals "recruiter of the year", I know. Lance was a nobody before he went to work for Saban. He was such a nobody before he got to Alabama that I didn't even know who he was when he got hired. The rumor is that he was on the cusp of getting fired at Central Florida before Saban called him to join his staff. Did he all of a sudden, at age 45, become a great coach and recruiter? Or is it the Saban factor? Hmmmmm...let me think....

Thank LT for the #2 class? Yeah, right!

Thompson was a known recruiter when he arrived at Bama. Just because you didn't know him doesn't mean squat.

This reminds me of the part in "Platoon" where everyone was sitting around guessing whether the new Captain was gonna make it. My guess is he gets his arse shot off.
