Dyer was kind of dead at the line in High School while in college he seems to hit his holes a lot better. Probably getting those checks.

Kiehl is a good high school quarterback...not on the same level as Newton though. Bad comparison!

Still doesn't, if we must go there. He was a great high school RB, and an OK college running back. With a great Oline and QB, he should be.
Our lowly 3* RB has better numbers than Dyer and Lattimore.
Do you think Kielh is as good or better than Scam? Really.

I would compare Cam Newton to Vince Young, although Newton is a better passer IB Frazier is not in that league, maybe Jason Campbell???

Newton is an athletic freak of nature.
Agree. Seriously, how many players at any position in the NFL are 6'6, 250lbs and run a 4.5 at a skill position.
I honestly can't think of any. There may be a tight end in the league with those measurables, but I am not even sure there are any tight ends that big that run a 4.5.
Then throw in the fact that he is a hell of a qb that is accurate and makes good decisions.

Kiehl will be good and in a different way, but he does not have Cam's power during a run. I am happy we have Kiehl, but a Cam he won't be.

Kiehl's best attributes aren't even his measurables. He is smart and a great leader, but Cam he is not. Cam is having one of the best seasons in the history of college football.
If Gus is around to Coach Kiehl he will put up huge passing number, but he won't put up the rushing numbers Cam has.

Doesn't he play for Shiloh who got smoked by Trinity by 60 points?
Have you ever seen Trinity play? Their team is fricking humongous. From the second they stepped on that field, Shiloh had absolutely no chance. Only an idiot blames that loss on Kiehl Frazier.

If I'm not mistaken he had 4 touchdowns against Trinity.

Didn't impress me this year either. He benefits greatly from having Newton draw all the attention. Once Newton leaves we'll see if Dyer is all that. To me he looks easy to tackle.

Most Hog Fans thought he would be a good RB at Auburn and that is what he is, a good RB. After seeing him in college for a full year do Auburn Fans really think he lived up to all the hype as being the #1 RB in the nation last year? That's laughable if you still believe that.
Dyer is good but he isn't even close to being as good as Knile Davis and he is a full year older than Davis. He isn’t as big, isn’t as fast, can’t pass/run block as well, and isn’t as good at catching passes as the Hog RBs are.
That's why knowledgeable Hog Fans weren't concerned about Dyer not choosing Arkansas because as I've stated previously, even it Dyer had signed with Arkansas he was probably never going to get much playing time because we had better players in front of him. He wasn’t going to get any of DJ’s carries because he just isn’t as good as DJ, he certainly isn’t as good a Davis, Green is a 250 LB FB type and Dyer sure wouldn’t get any of his carries, and Wingo is a 6’ 2” 230 LB speedster who is very, very good catching the ball out of the backfield.
It will be interesting to see how Dyer does in Auburn’s offense next year when Gus leaves and newton is gone. My guess is that he won’t be as effective but time will tell. Just saying.

In all fairness to Frazier, anyone seen vidoes of Newton his senior year in high school? That's where the comparison needs to be made imo. Comparing a hs senior to a college junior is a bit biased. And no, I'm not a Frazier bandwaggoner - only seen him play once on the tube this year. With two more years maturity he might could just become Superhuman II - or not.

Run the score up much?
Keihl didn't play past half in about 8 games this year.
