A part of me really hopes bother Kam Pettway and Kerryon Johnson return, but I realize one or both need to go pro.

Was very impressed with Kerryon while watching the Iron Bowl. Also, against Georgia. Personally, I thought he deserved more consideration than 9th place. He really stepped up against Bama and made their run defense look ordinary.

Martin is a nice change of pace back we rarely used, but lacks the inside ability to make our O work.
Most of Martin's rushing yards were bt the tackles

Stating it doesn't make it true. In fairness to him, he really didn't get enough touches to make a blanket statement about him.

Word is that no matter what happened during the season, Pettway gone, KJ back. We'll see. Would love to have them both back. I do think If we had just one, plus the other RB's and incoming freshman in Asa Martin and Shaun Shivers, we'll be pretty well stacked at the position. Clearly Pettway could use another year to remind folks who he was when healthy...but word is it wouldn't have happened even if he didn't get a single carry this year

That's why, in the SEC, you have to have 3 or 4 really good ones. As we've seen over the past several years, Murphy's Law prevails with skill players.

Got to have a stable of good RBs to make it to Jan.

I remember when nick chubb was our champion and toting the rock like Johnson that season.

He was our 4th string tailback and we needed him to run 30+ times because the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd stringers were hurt.

In a good season with no injuries, then we can have 5 tailback with 50+ carries a piece. Fresh as roses for the playoffs.

yeah, we're all terrified of him. We'll just avoid Orlando during the holidays and hopefully he won't hurt us.
