didn't he take a suspension for dirty play?

According to the SEC.. yes. It was intentional and dangerous.

I was thinking the same thing that the previous play he went out with an injury may have led to the next. My biggest concern is the shitty field turf at the Vaught. And this isn't some bullshite trying to stir the pot post. There is basically an injury to someone's lower body in every single game you watch there. This really needs to be addressed and fixed. Watch the replay of the Drake injury when he is making his cuts before anyone hits him. Rebel fans, do you agree? I am married to a Rebel and go frequently to games there so I see first hand. I am not trying to put down the stadium because I am a Bulldog. I truthfully think that field is dangerous. Hell, there have been many more Rebel players hurt on it than opposing players.

There's really no reason grass shouldn't be in every stadium that isn't a dome, south of the Mason Dixie line. I hate field turf.

Now this post is a knock on the Rebels. Hell, they couldn't grow grass in the damn place. Seems the had some disease or fungus that they couldn't get rid of or something. Some Rebel can give us that background, but that's one of the reasons why they went to the field turf. And I don't know what company they used, but the fricked that up to because it's awful.

Aren't you the same guy that said Dillon Day was innocent? Can't you go ahead and pass to the other side so we can post here in peace?

Looked good to me yesterday

and the SEC can go ahead and suspend Elston.. You think we give a shite ?!? We have the deepest secondary in the country

A suspension to Trae just means that the CJ Hampton show premieres a little sooner than expected.

God damn we're good

Had nothing to do with the actual injury.
Hearing on other boards speculation is his
Career is over. So sad. Reminds me of the
Prothro situation. I hope they are wrong.
Prayers up for KD

Yes we do. Go compare anything on any of our athletic fields with anything in Oxford. Our football field turf is one of the best surfaces to play football on in the country. I don't like the field turf at Dudy Noble either, but it was done supposedly to make field maintenance on the high traffic areas easier. I hate it. There were many slap singles from balls bouncing on that shite this past year that would've been easy outs, especially the balls hit straight down in front of the plate that bounced over the pitchers mound. I hope when we get the new stadium going that the field turf base paths die with the old stadium

He was such a huge X factor in last year's game for Bama... Everyone focuses on the Yeldon run where he juked Cody so badly but it was Drake's long TD run that put that game away.

Yep, I started a thread on the Bama rant before the game on how I thought he would be key in running and scoring on OM's defense. I hated to seeing him like that.

OM's field was awful yesterday. Not a fan.

People were slipping all over the field on Saturday. I just don't see that near as much on grass.

you don't see it that much on most field turf fields either. I'm telling yall that I see more leg injuries on that field than anywhere else. Hell, the Rebels lost like what 3 or 4 players last season to acl's during practice? Lost a few this year too I think before the season started. I know, I know. Everyone has injuries and acls. If you have the game recorded. Go back and watch Drake trying to cut before he got hurt. That shite ain't normal for legs to endure.

Gotcha. I didn't see exactly how Drake got hurt (thank god) but was it a bad slip or someone falling on his leg heavily?

It wasnt a bad slip that got him hurt technically, but he does lose his balance by slipping, causing him to be a sitting duck basically. I am not blaming the field for his injury, though.

no the injury was from contact and landing on his leg, but he was slipping all of the place before that happened. The field didn't break his leg, but maybe led to him being in the position he was in to get hit the way he did. How many acl's have the Rebels suffered in the last few years? Seriously curious.

I am in logistics and my customer supplied their field and I arranged for the delivery of it. Last season was it's first year.

Does anyone have any good examples of a player coming back from a break like that? It would make me feel better.
