Nowadays, it's Popeyes for me if I want fast fried chicken. Still can't beat Indi's wings either.

I do like Joella’s if I have to do a chain. But the best fried chicken here in Louisville is at Shirley Mae’s. That shite is like what Grandma would fix.

I like the sauce. Without it, the chicken would be above average only because it's not overly greasy to the point of slimey like KFC has become

In lex it’s Critchfield’s, Indi’s, or MiMi’s. Monday nights it’s worth the drive to Midway for the Wallace Station fried chicken dinner.
