Listening to the tournament committee guy on ESPN, he hinted the Vols may move to the 2 line with a win. That would just about guarantee a Nashville draw for the first weekend.

Kentucky is 31-10 in 41 SEC tournament championship games. Tennessee is 4-6 in tournament title games. Calipari is 5-2 in SEC-T title games.

head-to-head in SECT CG; UK 4 wins, TN 3 wins

TN 75 UK 69 *OT (at Birmingham 1979)
UK 95 TN 58 (at Louisville 1950)
UK 39 TN 35 (at Louisville 1945)
TN 33 UK 30 (at Louisville 1943)
TN 36 UK 33 (at Louisville 1941)
UK 46 TN 38 (at Knoxville 1939)
UK 39 TN 25 (at Knoxville 1937)

Kentucky's numbers in the SEC-T are staggering. here's UK's only 10 losses by opponent in SEC title games.

Florida 2014 (Atlanta)
Vanderbilt 2012 (New Orleans)
Florida 2005 (Atlanta)
Mississippi State 1996 (New Orleans)
Alabama 1982 (Lexington)
Louisiana State 1980 (Birmingham)
Tennessee 1979 (Birmingham)
Vanderbilt 1951 (Louisville)
Tennessee 1943 (Louisville)
Tennessee 1941 (Louisville)

The older I get the more I like it. My brother likes it even more. It means he wakes up at 5:30 instead of 4:30. He doesn’t have anywhere to be. He’s just that much of a morning person.

Tennessee should be in line for a #2 seed if they win this.
