Mizzou's DL has been living in the backfield and shutting off the opponents running game and dual threat QBs.

The back seven has a chance to be our best since joining the SEC.

If our offense can develop a pulse, it'll be business as usual. If not, UK finally beats Pinkel The Great.

I see Mizzou falling to UK. Mizzou's offense absolutely sucks. Defense may keep Mizzou in close for awhile, but Mizzous offense will wear the defense out if they can't control the ball and eat some clock. So, I think this is what's probably going to happen Saturday. Mizzou will lose from a shittastic offense that will run their defense into the ground resulting in a loss. Don't expect a real blowout, maybe double digits.

This is how I will approach the game so I don't have major disappointment when it does happen.

I'll gauge UK Saturday before saying they will beat Auburn or Miss St.

I think Kentucky win. They seem to have looked like the better team so far this year. If they win this game they would have a good chance of finishing in the top 4 in the east. Missouri seems to play teams at the right time and win games you don't expect so who know.

Lol, would it really be "unexpected" for Mizzou to beat Kentucky?

Our young Dline is showing they can play at the level of previous teams, maybe even better, we have more talent inside now with Augusta and Beckner than the previous two years, and their backups aint ham either. The probability that Charles Harris and at least a couple of more of the DE's will play in the NFL is bubbling over. We now have a DC that likes to utilize different looks, like a 3-3 nickel to keep the opposing offense off balance. No disrespect to Steckel but Odom would have easily "fixed" that trap blocking that Indiana threw out at us the second half of the game last year.

Mizzou has had decent LB-DB units before but this one really does rate with the best of them.

While all thats true the problems on the offense have yet to be solved, if Mauk utilizes his feet more we might have a chance to grind some long drives but it's no guarantee.

As much as I hate the name Stoops, this one has done a decent job of making Kentucky look like an SEC program and not just "that basketball school" trying to play football.. while Mizzou could play it's best game of the year and still lose, with few exceptions, we have an odd tendency lately to play up or down to the level of our competition.

What all Mizzou fans can all like and agree on about this team, is it is comprised of players who are used to and take the field expecting to win. Don't discount that either.

This would imply that Kentucky is able to hang 10 on the defense.
