The one thing I have learned while following college football is never to bet on Kentucky. You will lose your money every time.

Georgia looks beatable. It is almost tempting. Georgia is feeling smug and invincible. Ripe for an upset. But it is Kentucky. The Charlie Brown of college football.

I wouldn't bet on Kentucky against Georgia but we've beaten the spread in every game this year.

UGA has been ripe for an upset (according to the rant) since losing to Alabama in the SEC Championship Game in 2021.

Facts. At least Vandy & Mizzou are good for a big upset every few years. Ken13cky is grounded in mediocrity. Happy to lose every big game in exchange for 8 win seasons.

You guys looked really good against Florida which is why this game tempts me. If you repeat that performance, I think you win.

You do know that we aren't Florida?
They could do the exact same things and the results look 180 degrees different.

Georgia is 0-5 against the spread this year.

Easy money.

I know who you are and understand your confidence. For 2 years Georgia has risen to every challenge and won. But UK is capable of beating Georgia..

capable, sure. But to say if they play the way they did last week they will win is dumb. What if we quit messing out and play to our level? Then the answer is it doesn't matter what they do

That's very different than telling Kentucky to use the same gameplan against Florida and they beat us.

Since like 2019 the Kentucky game has always been an annoying slog. I’d bet UK to cover but lose like 12-7

Why would we play there? I can see a 2-for-1 deal where we play 2 games in Columbus and 1 at a neutral sight. Maybe in Cincinnati.

Georgia pulls away at home.

But prior years are irrelevant to this Saturday.
This Saturday night at 7pm in Athens to be exact.

Does Kentucky have the discipline (procedure penalties) and depth to win?
UGAs defense is a step down from the past 2 seasons. But the offense isnt. Georgia has the ability to carve a team up. Especially at home to benefit the OL (and our defense to get the ball back for our offense).

Maybe I worded that wrong initially but I believe Kentucky will win if they have as good a game as they had last week. They cannot use the same game plan as I believe they ran the ball down Florida's throat, because Georgia's D is too stout. They will need to open their running game with a solid passing game.

It's frustrating how they'll beat us but still play like arse against UGA and lose to Tenner.

Buddy I think we’ve seen what our level is 5 games in. This week is the half way point. At least we have composure and a second half team with quality depth that doesn’t let up fighting. The question is can Kentucky go 4 quarters with this Georgia team?
