Let Keller answer the question...according to him, his buddies are the ones who got "beat up" by the UK football players.

Soooo, there was a racial slurs directed towards the players at the party.

You seriously believe the football players showed up, and people just started yelling the n word and baselessly threatening them? Lol

I am reading, a horny football player tried to take advantage of a drunk girl and one of the frat boys intervened. Then all hell broke out.

Hearsay...you know about the situation just like me.

Let's see what comes out in the Grand Jury and then determine if either party is in the wrong. Like I said, I will change my tune if something comes out of the proceedings.

The fight was probably over drugs. That would explain why football players would go to what sounds like a D tier Greek party.

If even that were true that would obviously never come out in court.

I'm not sure what you think comes out at grand jury proceedings, but there is no cross-examination or calling of witnesses by the defense, and hearsay is admissible. All the state has to do is provide probable cause for the charges, a very low burden. What the Kentucky players did is textbook aggravated burglary unless they're denying they broke into the house and denying they unlawfully carried a firearm while doing so, but they don't get to present that defense to the grand jury

I'd say drugs were involved. The football players already suffering Roid Rage were ready to explode when they didn't get what they wanted from the girl lit the fuse.

Thanks but what happened with the student review board is pretty irrelevant at this point as it’s obvious they didnt have the same information the police do now for whatever reason.

That's not what this report says and also not what the charges indicate. Whether or not 3 of the 6 hit anyone or actually had the gun on their person doesn't mean they can't be charged with agg burglary. Just like if your buddy kills someone during a break in you can still be charged with felony murder. So their angle is they showed up with 5 other players, broke into a house unlawfully, one with a gun, but the only players charged should be those who threw punches? That's not how the law works.

Regardless, all of these guys will ultimately negotiate pleas of varying severity, so it is very likely no one will ever know all the details of what happened except the people that were there.

Much of what the UK fans are saying is inaccurate. Their defense of the players is not based on facts but of fanaticism.

We're all guilty of it. It's funny how people's opinions change regarding crime and punishment depending upon what colors the kid wears on Saturdays

In other words LSU will not be playing Kentucky this year.

This. You don't see me defending this stupidity for exactly this reason. Not gonna act like our shite doesn't stink when it does and then trash Tennessee. That's called hypocrisy. Our players were idiots regardless of whether a gun was there. If there was then whoever that was needs to be off the fricking team. Simple.
