I think it was iffy but I don't think it was wrong. Both Snell and the ref could've done better but it's not nearly as egregious as is being made out.
That field has had some saucy shite going on and that's likely why the ref was freer with the flag.

Missed on the play that Snell was ejected was the side judge marked Snell 5 yards behind his progress being stopped and let NW drive him into the ground after he was clearly out of bounds. That was horrendous on three different levels.

Throw the flag for a personal foul at worst but you don't eject the kid. Period.

Sorry. The flag is not necessary but fine, but an ejection is simply unwarranted when the official initiated contact. There is literally no reason for him to reach down there.
