ignoring all the trolls,
I'm excited about Kelly. He clearly has more energy than I thought he would have, I don't think he's coming in to coast to a payday.
He's going to bring a plan and structure to the program that I don't think we've had since Saban and the early Miles days. That's what terrified me about Orgeron, he never showed a process of maintaining anything over time. He showed that again at LSU, he could cheerlead and rah rah, but couldn't keep anything rolling. A competent HC would have had LSU ranked in 20 and 21.
I think Kelly rebuilds the program, may win a title, but definitely will leave it primed to make runs again after he's put his system in place. I don't mean on-field schemes, I mean overall program.

I seriously doubt that Brian Kelly will have much trouble winning an SEC and National Championship at LSU.
If "Village Idiots" Miles and Orgeron can do it, I don't think BK will have much of a problem.
It will just take a little while to clean up the big rotten stinking pile of shrimp heads that Shrimpy Orgeron left behind.
Kelly has the highest winning percentage of any active College football coach and will get it done. It's just a matter of time.

LSU fans are by far the worst on this board. Sidewalk and NFLSU probably account for 80% of the shitpost/trolling.

Yes, it's so easy to win national championships.

It was their super bowl because it was the LAST game of the season and to qualify for post season they had to win it. If they would have been 6-5 going into season finale, NO BIG DEAL.

Correct he's all yours. You better pray johnson doesn't win the starting job at a&m. Nother 8-4 if he does.

Of the top five mentioned in that article the only one woodward talked to was jimbo. Was he actually offered the job? Riley was a smoke screen. Woodward first talked to Kelly in october.

I’m glad, Riley would have killed it at LSU. Glad he was just smokescreen!!

Only THREE people knew who woodward was reaching out to in his coaching search. NONE of said three ever came out publicly stating coach X was contacted about the LSU job. All the media outlets had was speculation.

All but a couple of NDs '22 signing class committed to CBK. That a fact.

Yet you claim Kelly won't do shite.
What exactly has Lincoln been better at?

When's signing day? How many commitments we talking about?

Riley wasn’t a smokescreen. He wanted out of OU. He had interest in LSU. How much. Who’s to tell. He picked USC. Im not sure why and I laughed when he did it bc we are rivals of course. But I think he messed up. From what I’m hearing his wife might have pushed him for the LA gig.

NO amount of MONEY could ever get riley to coach in the SEC. The only way he could have gotten further from the SEC is if he went coach in hawaii. To bad for him that job wasn't open.

Easily
Riley can pretty much recruit whatever QB he wants bc of his resume coaching 2 heisman winners. His wide open offensive game plan is taylor made for todays game and rules. That paired with LSU defensive talent would be deadly. Riley actually competed against Georgia in that playoff game. Kelly has stunk in all his.
Kelly runs an O much more similar to Jimbo.
Sidewalk, we don’t agree on much but we both agree that O is out dated.

Kelly has won everywhere he's been, can X and O with anyone. He'll have better players and more of them at LSU. Take cover ladies.
