My point was nobody forces anybody to join military and they get compensated for their work. You should join the military if it a job that you enjoy, not with expectation of hero worship.
Also, many people in military never see combat.
I wasn't even talking about military. I was accused of hating the military simply because I responded to hostile comments by a Arky fan. I did not know he was in military when I responded to him and my response was not about his military service.

Clemson in SEC would be great for ratings.
Clemson would help SEC more than SEC would help Clemson if it helped Clemson at all.
Right now Clemson has its own brand not associated with a conference. I think SEC teams tend to have the same SEC school brand.

yes but if you complain about Tillman Hall over 2 hours from SC's campus, but don't complain about buildings at SC named after racists or a state of Tillman near SC's campus,
then your criticism of Tillman Hall isn't sincere

Doesn't that show Clemson has something special? Two national titles despite not being in top 25 money wise. lol
Meanwhile SC has been one of the worst P5 programs despite a lot of money and huge stadium and decent recruiting area.
If UVA, UNC< Duke, Wake, BC, G Tech, etc are poor, we have it so good in this country. lol
