He's a very, VERY good player. Not on the Boutte level though. Rwally respect Burks as a WR however.

He clearly is the best WR in the SEC through this point. Maybe even the country.

I'll be sure to tune into the Heisman Trophy ceremony to see him accept it.

It Boutte can continue this pace should he get more hype for the Heisman?
Probably should, but unfortunately, players on 4+ loss teams have pretty much zero chance of even getting an invite.

Devonta Smith didn’t go nuclear until after Tennessee (game 5) when Waddle got hurt.

Kinda a topic no one cares about at the moment, we can always revisit this when LSU plays 3 SEC games for a fair comparison.

Boutte is killing it early in the season though, forgive us we're kinda licking our wounds from Florida and thinking about Ole Miss just from a Bama's fan perspective.

Try it in a shortened season against 11 ALL SEC schedule and then 2 of the top 4 ranked teams in the country. Then get back to me on the Heisman bit. However, he's absolute beast!

Boutte didn’t play a lot last night. In several series he didn’t play. You could tell that they were trying to get other players involved. Boutte is clearly the 1 guy, they are trying to find a 2. I think Besch is that guy

Wouldn’t be a surprise. You tune into every game he plays. So why not a ceremony?

It is D. Smith #6 for LSU who is the number 2 guy.

Deion Smith looks like a taller version of Devonta Smith.

Boutte could pass those numbers but won’t win the Heisman because it’s not a Covid year.
