Lots of Bama fans had already bought him a ticket to Michigan in the 1st quarter kind of a fickle bunch. Will reserve judgement on his abilities for another year, so far good coach nothing more.

Saban would have used the next long lay off to prime his war machine up to out physical IU ( think Colt McCoy 2009). KB just has a different vision. Kudos to him for not trying to imitate Saban

That would be true of any coach there. Bama was successful because they had the biggest, best, and most well integrated cheating apparatus in the history of college football. Now it isn’t cheating and everyone can do it. Why do you think Saban left?
