Oklahoma struggled with very mediocre A&M and Okie State. LSU was Auburn's only win by one score

Setting aside the 5 top 15 teams Auburn beat, sure. Two of which were beatdowns of top 10 teams.

But otherwise, I agree.

Yeah it really showed in the loss to Iowa

I think he meant 2006. It’s easy to get those 04/06 LSU/AU games mixed up because they were both low scoring hard hitting games

LSU Auburn in mid 2000s one of the greatest stretches of games in SEC history.

Bryan Cox one of the toughest QBs ever.

Seriously. Beating LSU and Bama is sooooo easy. Oklahoma would have crushed both of them. Two bottom feeder schools.

was the premier matchup in the SEC in the 2000s. Every single one of those games delivered on the hype and hard hitting.

I loved how Tubbs embraced it with his trolling of LSU. I was a student during this stretch and goddamn LSU Auburn was sick during this time period.

Hell it still is, Auburn played us harder than anyone last year.
