This season will still be a resounding success if we lose today and go to the Sugar Bowl because we beat Bama at home. Beating Bama is the benchmark for success in the SEC west, or football in general.
If you beat Bama, you beat the best coach of our generation and can’t be understated.

The most satisfying part of this season is the destruction of Bama’s season at their house on the most televised game of the year. It was the best day in Louisiana in a decade. We can breathe again without that elephant sitting on our chest.

Bama has won 5 championships in a decade and has owned us since 2011. I have the upmost respect for the Alabama football team. The fan base is a bunch of country bumpkin toothless idiots but the football team is the gold standard of college football. I thoroughly enjoyed, along with five million other people who live in Louisiana, watching the LSU tigers stand in the center of your field and hear coach O tell Alabama and the world that “ This is our house now”. It was glorious.
