Has anyone else ever noticed schools, like Georgia & Texas, that should be dominate in football, but aren't, are in the middle of a liberal town. Do you think that the loser, panty & skinny jean wearing, feminine/passive mentality has an affect on the football team, because they live in this micro-environment? The same can be said about several other schools that should be good year in, year out.

Nah, most major cities lean Democrat.

The vast majority of the players on every college football team have Democrat views.

No, alot of Georgia's recruits are from the backwoods. I think the same can be said with Texas. But the Cali schools that should do well are in the thick of liberal areas, and they haven't done anything in decades.

Bama has players with BLM marches and are still in contention for titles. The markets politicial leanings are irrelevant

Eta: Texas just has a shitty coach. Kirby at UGA needs to find a QB for the long term.

USC had a pretty damn good dynasty rolling less than two decades ago.

USC had one national championship. That's not a dynasty.

A dynasty isn't just about national titles.

I guess the better comment would have been that they had a solid foundation for a dynasty.

Yes it is.

Is Georgia a dynasty right now?

If that's the case UGA has been a dynasty for a while.

National championships are a component but not the only component.

Austin, Charlottesville and Chapel Hill take it to a different level.

Not sure I can place Athens in that category.
