He is a lot faster than people want to give him credit for. I'd guess he probably runs a 4.45-4.48 40. Not elite speed, but he isn't slow for a guy his size. It's not his fault that we run the ball most of the time, and almost all the time in the red zone. Most touchdowns don't come on big plays, and he has limited opportunities inside the 20. The guy is having a bad year. It's obvious that he is extremely talented though, and I have no doubts that he will turn it around soon now that he's back to 100%. I don't see why people (LSU and AU fans in particular) feel the need to disparage the guy. It isn't his fault he gets hype. He didn't ask for it.

They do it because so many Bama fans talked so much shite about how great Julio is/was for so long....

I think he is good, but he just doesn't deserve to be in the class some Bama fans want to put him in.

Saban will pass to a guy if he is going to put up Josh Reed numbers.

Oh I see. It was in college, therefore it doesn't count. I guess the NFL draft really is just random guessing if what someone does in college against other college players is now meaningless. Thanks for clearing that one up for me.

I seriously doubt it would take 9 guys to take him down. That's just how many we used.

Before the season, Julio and AJ were about even. A mere 6 weeks in and it isn't even close.

AJ Green has outperformed Julio. Unquestionably.

Julio has dropped 2 or 3 passes this season that were important, and very catchable.

I still think Julio has the most upside of any receiver in college football, and will have a great NFL career.

Hopefully, even though he really is double and triple-teamed all the time, he'll find a way to make plays. That must get frustrating though.

When JJ is in the game our run game has a bigger advantage than when he isn't. You can man up with most any receiver in the SEC and make the tackle after the catch. You simply can not leave a corner out on an island without help from a safety.

I agree he has had a terrible year catching the ball but he is a serious weapon that every coach we play has to game plan around. Just like my boy Cody on the other side of the ball they have intangibles that win games without the stats.
