I will give you that, he did have one or two long catches against us.

The problem Auburn fans are running up against and it really makes their head hurt is they are trying to measure Julio's success on the Trooper scale. Which has nothing to do with wins or losses or big important plays such as a drive where a clutch player makes 5 or 6 huge catches and first downs to save a season. Or the fact that without Julio's blocking and attention from defensive backs Alabama does not win the national championship and Ingram does not win the Heisman.

It really bothers Auburn fans to see someone get credit for doing the things that are not flashy, but that win ball games. No I doubt Trooper would have waved his towel for Julio's blocking probably would not have noticed, but I guarantee he had the towel going full blast when Darvin Adams was making meaningless catches early in the game.

He's a wide receiver, that's what it's 95% about

To even be on the field, you've gotta be able to block for Saban. Stats are great but if you can't block for Saban, you don't play, no matter how many stats you can produce.

He got picked on name and high school hype alone.

Not true and utter BS. He got picked because I coached him for five years until 9th grade. I promise you will have a hard time finding a stronger WR. I put my teams thru very hard workouts on the field and in the gym from the time they reach 11yrs old. I had Julio and Robert Lester at age 8 until he was a freshman in HS.

Come on TT, you can't let a down year blind you from realizing that julio is a damn good reciever.

In his case, it did and it has...

Well in that case, patrick peterson sucks, amirite?

Now that I think about it, if julio sucks, then LSU's whole team sucks because he has dominated LSwho the past two years.

There's my two cents. Take it or leave it.

And the SEC coaches AND the AP voted him a 1st team RECEIVER in the SEC.

But, you're right...you have more knowledge of what he should play than the coaches.
