Why doesn't Richt look at stats?
I don't know why you keep trying to single out Richt, when if you knew anything about the process you would know that these coaches aren't the ones that vote. Need I remind you about Spurrier's ballot with Snead over Tebow, only to find out he never even saw the ballot? And also, how do you know that Richt didn't leave Julio off his ballot? Or are you just assuming? You know what happens when you do that.

I haven't even read most of this cause I'm sure its drivel but as for the "he's not even our best receiver" argument, I was bored enough the other day to watch the replay of the Florida game and Maze had a big game. But he was matched up with a nickel back sometimes, one of his biggest plays was against Ryan Stamper, the Florida linebacker.
Julio always gets the Joe Hadens, the PP's. I like Maze and think he's a real good player but Julio's our best receiver. I guarantee you every other SEC coach agrees with me.

quote:Post of the millinium. How LSU fans can continue to hail PP as the second coming of Christ in cleats while declaring Julio is the most overrated player in the conference in the same breath constantly amazes me. They are exactly the same player, just mirror opposites of each other. They are both full of potential but neither one has done enough to live up to the hype that their respective fanbases have burden them with.
Nothing that PP has done in his career thus far has led me to believe that he is on a different level than julio.

Yeah and you keep posting how PP shut Julio down. Even though PP was on the bench more than he was on the field.
And the week leading up to the game, I don't remember PP mentioning he had the flu. I just remember him saying "I want Julio and the coaches know I want Julio".
So did he actually have the flu, or did y'all make that shite up afterwards?

FWIW, i look at it like this: JJ torched PP the first game they played against each other. But then PP completely shut down JJ in the second game. So it's pretty much even, 1 to 1. And i don't want to hear Bama is 2-0 in those games, because it wasn't PP's fault a dumbass LSU player couldn't break down and tackle Julio on a little screen pass instead of over running the play. I say it's even with PP and JJ.

Who's fault was it that PP left the game? Julio's? Dont blame it on Julio.

Ingram scoring touchdowns = PP not giving up any touchdowns? No.

Thanks. I'd love to return the compliment, but you don't amaze anyone. Disgust maybe, amaze not so much.

Last time i checked, defense wins championships. So, PP not giving up an TDs > Ingram scoring Tds.

If you honestly think Bama won the NC because of your offense, then you're a dumbass.
