They should stick their football program in a G5 conference and join the Big East for everything else. UConn did and it seems to be working.

This is not a good look for kU. I mean, it is kind of cringey that they are starting a campaign to get picked up.

Nobody said it was for conferences
Conferences obviously dont care about the local city if the SEC took schmucks from columbia

Bwaaaaaahhhh!!!
Growing up in KC & having many family & friends who are beakers this is glorious. The Twitter responses were gold and that’s just the KU people.

I enjoy laughing at ku as much as my brethren, however I do feel bad for our old Big 8 mates, minus Okie. I enjoyed our rivalry with ku, but that of course was broken up. Jobs will be lost and the economy in these states will suffer unless they find decent landing spots, or somehow piece together a viable conference. I live amongst them and still have friends from these programs, even ku. I hope the best for them (they can't do better where we are sitting) and maybe we can renew some old rivals.

I feel for ISU, K-State, and Oklahoma State. The rest can lick my nuts (kU included).

Hard to believe, but architecturally KC is one of the most beautiful and best designed cities in the country. It has the most boulevards and fountains of any US city and the Nelson-Atkins art gallery is a world class art museum and conservatory.
But most people think this us…

Kansas has become so bad at football it's actually startling to comprehend. This team actually had a football pulse once upon a time. The administration has to be thinking basketball 24/7 to let this football program slide like this.
Mangino, aka the fat man, was the best thing that ever happened to that program and they rode him out of town on a rail because god forbid he was hard on his players. As a result he turned them into winners & a consistent top 25 football program. Lew Perkins(AD) in conjunction w/ the KC Star smeared his program & paid him to leave. Turns out Lew Perkins was the devil and the most corrupt AD in the country and KU is still paying for his sins
