Yeah, that’s cute coming from a fan of a team that just bought the most expensive recruiting class in history. I swear, Aggies are so fricking sad. I’ve never seen a program have to cling to their money as a way to have any type of success. You would think by now they’ve learned that’s not the key?

It’s going to be funny when teams that never won a championship like TExas A&M finally win. No one will care because they couldn’t do it the right way for 60 plus years

I’m not clicking the link for some dude to get a click, but many have said college will become the minor league NFL.

Kids transferring annually will ruin the sport, there is no loyalty to colleges anymore.

Faster pace for basketball. I miss watching 3-4 year players in basketball.

I’m actually curious if NIL will revert college basketball back to having 3-4 year players. We may still see a lot of transfers, but there have been some players choosing to stay in college another year because of NIL money.

It won’t keep the top picks from leaving, but I think you’ll see more guys who project in the 2nd round stick around an extra year to make money and then try and improve their draft stock.

The structure of the sport will fall apart if that doesn’t get fixed and that will eventually make the sport unrecognizable and drive people away way faster than NIL or the transfer portal.

The NCAA was a screwed up mess. Of that, we all should agree. North Carolina cheated their asses off and .... nothing. You want other examples? I doubt you need them.

Then who is or was the NCAA anyway? It's the Universities themselves. They hired these guys and gave them what power they wanted them to have. They will have something in it's place, of this I have no doubt. It may even be better.

Let's just all relax a bit. The sky is not falling.

I agree with all of this. This is why Pate said he had optimism and I agree with him. There is a vacuum for some good leadership and organization post-NCAA, but it has to happen.

The biggest impediment seems to be the conference commissioners bickering with each other right now.

I am always excited when CFB season starts, even when my DaWGs we're having a few lean years.

Is CFB changing?, of course, maybe I am just an optimist but I think it will be just fine if the tweak some of the rules regarding NIL and the transfer portal..

I have the same opinion.

I do not G5 & P5 programs are equal and they shouldn't be held to the same set of operating rules and regulations, but changes needed and it appears they are coming according to the latest NCAA statements.
