Yes, very much so. Recruiting was the biggest question mark about DeBoer as none of his previous classes at Washington were very good. He seemed to do a good job filling his needs(based on results), but it wasn't stacked with talent.
And while there is a long time left in this cycle, things are looking up.

Not sure if still relevant but at some point in recent times his girlfriend had a job in bama's athletic dept. One reason that he was so in love with Saban.

Gumps are all shitting their pants and praying last year at Washington for Daboer wasn't just a fluke due to having an abundance of first round NFL skill position talent in a paddy cake of a conference.
