Seeing on some other sites that he had surgery on a broken arm sustained in the MSU game.
Should also note that he hurt the arm, and got it wrapped and came back in and played last weekend.
I think we are still in good hands with Lewis, Lindsay, and Edwards but his dirty work will be missed if this is true

That stinks. He gets under the opponents skin.

Per a poster on BOL he's pestering the coaches about playing some limited snaps on Saturday.

eh, if he's really injured let's sit him for a few weeks and let the other TE's handle business. Regardless of what happens against a good UGA team, I think we can be ok without him for TN and A&M but I'd love to see him pulverize LSU.

Ahhhh frick. Just... frick.
What's the injury report for Georgia looking like? Waterboy out with a cold? Long snapper out with a sprained wrist?

Ford is a big time blocker but frankly I think we got 5 guys who can block well and 2 of them are NFL caliber full-packages. Ford is such a mentality setter though. Lewis will probably get more play time now. Lindsey played well when he got on the field last week.

He does the things that get overlooked like Smelly did, but he brings that Landon Dickerson toughness and work ethic with him.
