What’s the word on the timeline for Mingo’s foot injury? He’s a big weapon for the Rebs and may be a key component for a big late season surge.

Probably miss 4-5 weeks. We are going on week 3. Sounds like important safety Jake Springer is back this week. Hasn’t played since the opener.

Getting Springer back would be huge. We are talent deficient on that side of the ball, and we had to move folks out of their positions due to Springer's injury.

I was at the game Saturday and noticed Mingo on crutches during the pregame. Ole Miss staff doesn’t talk about injuries but I’m gonna guess it’s a few more weeks before he’s back.

No clue. Kiffin and co. are pretty quiet about injuries. Don't see him playing in the LSU game.

They said that he was out for the season. If he was still on crutches, then he probably is out for the rest. They'll go for a medical redshirt for another season of eligibility, I'm sure.

That would be the smart thing to do. You hate to see any kid injured and trying to rush his recovery could make things worse. Tough break for Mingo.
