I’ve been informed by multiple #sources that officials at #Auburn University have presented an offer package to Lane Kiffin’s agent Jimmy Sexton for Kiffin to become the #Tigers next head coach. I was told-“They are close to making this dream a reality, stay tuned.” #SEC #OleMiss

For the record.... He broke Mullen being fired from UF:

Just received word from a source in #Florida (@FloridaGators
) that the University of Florida will look to move on from head coach Dan Mullen. The #Gators are expected to make an announcement, possibly by Monday. @jim_howington

I can't tell do you guys still want Lane or not? It's hard to tell these days

Ole Miss fans are asking the same. We all knew his time here is limited but is the yearly distraction worth it with us not getting the results? Id love for him to stay but I have no doubt this played a part in how shitty we looked last week.

I’ll say it again…he isn’t currently worth $9mill a year. If auburn wants to pay him that much more then go for it.

It's.....literally what Jon Sokoloff says

Where does he say he knows nothing?

He says his source tells him Kiffin to Auburn on Friday. Ole Miss denied it (obviously) Sources close to Auburn deny offering anybody (not going to offer him until Friday even if this is all true).

Obviously he trusts his source but we don’t know who it is so we have no idea whether to trust it.

Cohen is looking for a cheap up and coming coach to clean up the program first before he hires a brand name coach.

He wouldn't make Christmas Day 2023.

He's doing Cohen a favor. This is going to happen, Kiffin just didn't want it released before the Egg Bowl. Cohen has a problem because if Auburn does find a way to win there will be mutiny on the team if they don't offer the job to Caddilac. Just trying to get the news out that Kiffin will be the next coach well before the Iron Bowl.

Very similar thing happened just before Bianco was set to interview w LSU

the only reason Bianco was interviewed at LSU was because former players of his from when he was an assistant at LSU were campaigning for it (Todd Walker, et al). LSU was never going to offer him
