You skipped a bowl game pouting away. That is going to dent your "national" brand.

Why reward ABC/ESPN with good ratings after the snow job.

Notre Dame is already losing the USC game...

Stanford is in the ACC now.

Notre Dame playing in the ACC would keep a lot of their traditional games. Notre Dame already signed that huge contract with Clemson

It's just outdated stupidity at this point

Yep, and we see how much HTH mattered in 1993 when Notre Dame beat FL.St, however, FL.St finished the season ranked #1 & ND #2. Rationale...FL.St played a more competitive schedule. Real reason...selective amnesia and everyone wanted Bobby Bowden to finally win a title.

Amazing the love for ND in this forum. You would have thought they beat GA last year in the CFP and LSU the last two bowl games they played each other.

This take is stupid...

As long as there are Catholics living all over the country....Notre Dame is going to have a national following.

Can't blame your anger. 56-13. Ouch!! Probably reminded you of the beatings USC put on Woo Pig Sooie in back-to-back years or your baseball team performing the big choke against LSU last season.

Too funny! ND' s scheduling quality teams problem is their problem; not ours or anyone else's.

At the end of the day Notre dame is still arrogant and can’t back it up . You lost to Miami what makes you think you deserve to get in over them? The big 10 and sec need to put them in their place . Marcus , yall aren’t that good deal with it !!!

It’s still ridiculous. Imagine a pro sports league where one team didn’t have to be in a division or conference and got to pick and choose for themselves their entire schedule, just whoever they wanted

Too bad. I clearly understand after UT was punished for playing a challenging schedule (Ohio St) this year.

Notre Dame is already a member of the ACC in all sports except football. They did play as a football “member” of the ACC during the COVID year, but immediately went back to being independent after that stupidity ended.

And here’s the thing, if Notre Dame had remained a football member of the ACC then they’d have almost certainly won the ACC Championship game last night an would have been selected today to play in the CFP as the ACC champion.

Notre Dame’s own hubris is what kept them out of the playoff this season. They think they’re special, they don’t need to be in a conference in football. Today they found out they were wrong.
