Been married for over 10 years. Not happening even if I become a widower. I'm not drawn to trashy women.

where the heck are his parents in all of this ?? I don't care how famous and rich the little squirt is he's still just 23.

Heck,I'm 53. If I did stuff like this today at almost 78 my dad would still knock me for a loop.

His parents are enablers.

The best thing that Meredith Manziel (his sister) has done while at A&M is to keep a low profile.

My dad would clean my clock, too.

I've been around Johnny since I was in 2nd grade and I can promise you they are far from the millionaires they are portrayed to be.

Somehow I can't take any statement from LeBron James' agent about "sincerity" seriously.

He could have stated that FAR more succinctly by just saying, "Manziel isn't going to make me any more money, so I'm cutting ties."

Burkhardt isn't Lebron's agent

And yeah frick his agent for looking out for his business interests maybe he didn't have to make it so public but they have a business relationship and I don't blame him for one second for looking out for himself. Manziel could terminate the relationship from the other end at any point also and jump ship to another agency

According to today's reports, they have been working tirelessly to get him into rehab and a psychiatric hospital, but Johnny won't stay. It's becoming a pretty sad situation. And I doubt he will ever see the field again.

Are you sure? I am not saying you are lying....and I don't absolutely know how accurate this is....but:

Johnny Manziel Parents net worth: Johnny Manziel's parents, Paul and Michelle Manziel, are oil tycoons and former businesspeople who have a net worth of $50 million dollars

Unfortunately, you are probably right. Think of all the players that worked so much harder, but were born with less talent that could have benefited from his opportunities. I understand he (Johnny Manziel) had to work very hard to develop his talents, but then he has thrown away and squandered many opportunities.

that link doesn't exactly look exhaustively researched. Looks like a lot of second hand information.

The point is that the agent could have just ended the relationship without the twitter grandstanding.

I agree he didn't need to be so public about it

I've always felt his dad was kind of an attention whore as well.

Paul Manziel is incapable of being anything other than a "buddy dad".

Like I said earlier, enabler.
