There are situations you learn to shy away from. I used to be a person that watched ESPN and Sportscenter all day, every day.

Media created and fabricated the Manziel sink hole and now they try to make a buck and get website hits by throwing him down it.
To not realize that the media created this is being dense. Same with Tebow. Same with Lebron. Same with Favre.
Manziel has never talked shite. Never bad mouthed another team or player. Always gives credit to his teammates and coaches. Has never said that he deserved any special treatment. Has never snapped at or criticized reporters. And has never blamed anyone else.

Unfortunately, the when the kid puts himself in a position to be a lightening rod, he's gotta know the hits are comin.
IMO, he's just a kid being a kid. Living the life most of us only wish we'd had the talent and wealth to enjoy when we were his age.

While I agree that the media is going to make a bonfire out of a pilot light at every turn when it comes to JFF, he has made some really bad decisions that has thrown vodka onto the fire. He can't have the same life he once had. It's the price he has to pay for being famous, but the perks are plentiful.

We need to let this die down, the dude showed a lack of maturity and all but it isn't the end of the world.
He makes his apology and moves on. If he shows a change in attitude and behavior then all is fine. I am sure he has learned a lot about dealing with fame in the last few weeks.

Manziel being a 20/21 year old with fame and attention dropped in his life created the sink hole. He's young and stupid. I don't think many of us would have looked good if the media reported everything we did at that age.

You don't understand the pride that Aggies have. We feel like we have to climb the water tower to defend our sister's honor when our best course of action is to just move on. It's getting better, but the old Aggies will have to die off first.
