Needs to stay in the bullpen. One of our top 3-4 arms, and need to have one of them available in high pressure situations.

No outs. And a lefty at this plate to give the C a free lane to throw. Not smart.
He tries to make all of our hitters hit one way, one style. Note that Vandy’s lefty had a big leg kick. None of our guys do that. Or they are told not to.

3 guys left and are performing:
Costello is hitting .328 at Maryland
Larson is hitting .310 at Texas
Ryan is hitting .314 at NC State

It works for some. But certainly not all. A lot of successful hitters use a leg kick or operate in a narrower stance. He seems to force the wide base on all hitters. At least that’s what it appears.
Does Jay Johnson require all of his hitters

To have wide stances with little or no strides? They all hit super spread out, and most of them look stuck at the plate. I can’t think of one hitter on the team who has a leg kick or even much of a stride.

Winning a bloated, watered down 14-16 team conference with mostly bottom feeders doesn’t mean a lick. Who won the ACC this year? But hey, conference champs!

Brian Kelly was the mastermind behind their soft arse schedules. Freeman’s future schedules look a little different. Of course, one guy is a little tougher than the other.

Conferences are too big currently and need to be shrunk or just abolished altogether. Winning a conference is meaningless if you don’t play all of the teams or substantially all.
Add an OL through free agency.
We need to draft a playmaker - either RB or WR, or an edge rusher.

Agreed! I never understood why fans would actually pull for their closest rivals.

The top college football programs should break off and go independent. Form their own league and play each other. Conferences only serve to benefit the bottom feeder programs and subsidize them with money that they cannot earn through their own success. It’s a socialist structure. I am befuddled why people love it so much.

It was obvious to anyone who watched that they were terrible at the end of the year.
They got in because of their name. Plus the head of the committee’s school stood to benefit by Alabama’s inclusion

Conferences in college sports are fundamentally flawed and need to be abandoned. I will never understand why the top programs are willing to share revenue that they produce with bottom feeder programs. Sure, the crappy football programs love them because they collect money without doing anything.

Kind of a long trip for Oregon. Plus, how do fans determine which game to go to? Do you go to an early playoff game or do you save your money and try to make a later playoff game? It’s not feasible to make them all.
Good thing they are in a mega conference. That will weed out the overrated teams!
