The man is still an elite level coach. Him getting away from UK is the best thing he could have ever done for his career.

His adjustments this game were some of the best you will see. He’s still an elite coach and the best recruiter in the game

Unbelievable coach.

The best part is UK tried to convince themselves Mark Poop was an upgrade.

Didn’t get to see the game (Christmas shopping).

Cliffs on what adjustments he made? He’s not at all well known for in game adjustments so I’m curious

Then keep him.

The problem is ... you really like him now. And that's great. I'm still glad he left. Also great.

But you want me to want him back. Not a chance in Hell.

An honest Hog fan

Pretty sure you remember and might actually admit how much Cal was despised by Arkansas fans.

Whole lotta turd eating going on down there.

You implying that our hatred had anything to do with his coaching?

We hated him because he ended the Memphis rivalry and basically said we weren't at high enough level to play anymore.

It was actually a pretty smart move as it locked us out of Memphis recruiting where we had been active before (Todd Day, Corey Beck and others). Not sure we had a major player out of the Memphis area after that until Billy (Goat) Richmond

You Wildpussies would take him back in a heartbeat.

You dumbasses thought a Mormon that can’t recruit and has NEVER won shite was a better option than John Freaking Calipari. That’s why you have an overpaid roster full of backup role players and absolutely suck this year.

Thread about Cal, but discussion about Kentucky. Some things never change.

But I'll play anyway. I'm glad he's gone the relationship was over here. He did great things here, and also did lots of clunkers. Only clunkers the last few years.
If you start losing in March to St. Peters and Oakland (Michigan), start a thread then.

Everyone needed a new start. No doubt yours would be quick because of his reputation.

As far as Pope, what he did last year with little talent was amazing.
It appears they completely misstepped with this roster. He needs a GM, and we are getting one. This year is shaping up to be rough, but we have had a lot of rough years recently. Pope is still figuring out how to do things on a bigger stage. Things will be fine.

Continue to start threads about Kentucky using Cals name. I don't seek UK fans doing it, but wouldn't expect us to.

Glad he's working out for you so far. In the NIL era, the wagners and Richmonds of the world will have to hang around longer. That is a forced good thing for Cal.

Good win today

Nope. Two things can be true.

Calipari was hard to handle. I got sick of his used-car salesman shite while he lost every big game ever. I got sick of him telling me Kentucky was some kind of NBA jobs program.

Now - two things can be true. I also get tired of Mark Pope evangelizing to me. I'd like him to pack all almost Seven Foot of his bullshite and take it back to Utah as well.

Arkansas likes Calipari ? Fantastic. Please keep him. Win all you wish. I simply do not care.
