The final four team could have been coached by most people on the sec rant. That team was ridiculousy talented who had been playing together since they were little kids. They had incredible chemistry.

Certainly, Auburn can do better than Brady?

He can recruit. He knows defense. He does not know offense which leads him to never seem to recruit a good guard. He also seems to have low tolerance for players BS. They will sit the bench or transfer. I would give him a B-.

All I can say is
Does Alabama have a lot of good basketball recruits within 20 miles of Aubrun's campus? Because that's all he'll get you. He has no offense philosophy, he's a jerk, and he can only win if he has elite talent from around the area. Very inconsistent coach.

+1000

That starting 5 basically dragged Brady kicking and screaming to the Final Four.

I'm sure the fact that they held Duke to 54 and Texas to 60 in an overtime game had nothing to do with a good defensive game plan.

ETA: They also held UCLA to 59 (unfortunately, they forgot that the object of the game was to score that night).

They never have before.

Brady has as many SEC titles as Auburn, and he has more Final Fours than Auburn.

He was just named coach of the year in the sunbelt and he also has the freshman of the year, he was not well liked at LSU by the fans, but he came here and won 2 Sec titles and 3 west titles and went to the final four, he knows how to get NBA caliber players and will make a run every 3 years which is about all you can ask for now a days. he came here after dale brown lost 4 years in a row and left the school with the basketball equivelent of the smu death pena relty. he won the sec in his third year. the nba and injuries hurt him throughout his career here. he would be a good coach at auburn which like lsu is a football school, and he probably has a good ten years left. he got screwed here when they fired and from the looks of things around here they wish they had him back, he knows how to turn a program around and will be back in the league somewhere.
