I was right about him. And the punks on this board still won't give me my props.

In all seriousness. How close is this to happening? Whats the scoop?

Auburn should hope for it. Brady accomplished more at LSU than Auburn has accomplished in its entire history.

The 55-year-old Brady is the father of two daughters (Brittany, Brooke) and is married to the former Misty Champagne

I rather have Mike Davis over John Brady.. In these days you need a coach that can relate to the players.

Brady actually has a great basketball mind, especially defensively. But he's got zero people skills and runs players off at an alarming rate. What you end up with is good years every odd year with really crappy years in between.

What about on O? Can he teach player to go inside and to dribble drive to the basket.

He can recruit ok. His players will eventually hate him because he treats them poorly. He'll alientate the fanbase.

John Brady > Jeff Lebo
He used to be the HC at Samford before LSU.

Really struggles with teaching his team on how to break the press. The UAB game in the tournament a few years back was one of the worst coaching jobs i have ever seen. That LSU team was fricking good that year too. Couldnt of had a worst match up when it came to brady's teams.
So is Auburn going to hire him? What is the percentage?

He will get you good recruits and have a few good years but mostly bad. Go check his years at LSU. I am pretty sure of his 11 seasons at LSU he had 6 losing records in the SEC with 4 last place finishes in the WEST alone. True he got us to the Final Four but that was with the most ridiculous players to probably ever come out of Louisiana. Plus he is a complete arse (compareable to Saban) and doesnt graduate players at all mainly because he runs them off. Not to mention he always had trouble running a zone offense, but we did play hard and he knew how to coach defense.

This is a good assement. Also emphasizing what too much on juco's. Which is also why you would have some down years. Not enough stability in the program.
