That’s an interesting point, but I have another one, money. The rest of the bowl games are growing increasingly irrelevant, and people like the playoff. It’s called capitalism and it will make it 8 and then eventually 12.

You can’t rub LSU’s nose in it because lsu plays an annual game with you, auburn and Florida so that makes LSU the center of the college football world.
12 year that either lsu or a team that plays an annual game with lsu makes the postseason.

I've said this before.
4 ensures that the 2 most deserving teams are in.
It wouldn't have mattered if OSU or Alabama made it in at 4. They're lucky to just have the opportunity.
