They did good stuff at Penn State. His time at State was awful.

No clue how things have gone at Oregon this year, but kind of strange for him to be moving to another OC job this quickly.
only reason i can think of is being closer to his PA family. Doubt the allure of the SEC would do it and it's hard to imagine Kentucky outbidding Nike.

His first year at State was decent, he coached them to win 8 games with a bowl loss.

His offense is a one running back and TE (no huddle) spread. It would be a good fit Fitzpatrick gelled for him when Morehead got to State.

He won 8 games because he had the best defense in the country. His offense was an unmitigated disaster, and had it been merely average they probably win 10 games.

I generally don't judge coordinators based on anything from their head coaching days. It's a totally different animal running a program and calling plays/coaching a unit.

UK needs an OC that could be HC at Kentucky. Stoops would be smart to go after Malzahn or Hugh Freeze.

Neither of those guys are taking OC offers anywhere.

shite, Kentucky would love to have 397 yards per game on offense like Morehead had at State!
His running game average over 270 yards a game at State and Oregon. Sign me up for that!
