Always worth mentioning that Tua rarely plays more than 2-3 quarters of the game.
He played in all 4 quarters against South Carolina. And in 3 quarters in your 2 other cupcakes.

naturally, you can't judge things in 3 games, but in the 2018 season South Carolina was the #62 ranked pass defense. Texas was #126 of 130.

here's a link if you need it

How did he attempt 4 passes in the 4th quarter vs South Carolina if he only played 1 play in the 4th?

One of which was a TD............

William my friend, you have convinced me... especially after repeatedly pointing out that he led LSU to that great 44-16 win in the NC game last year.

I don't think he had a td in the 4th quarter. Or maybe he played an entire series. 4 attempts and 1 touchdown? Cool.

One played in a conference where the spread offense is prolific and hard to stop (you should know, Clemson torched Bama with that kind of offense last year) and the other played Georgia who’s offense was pretty fricking “bleh” at times. Other than that, South Carolina played against some of the worst offenses in the SEC.

It's ridiculous to compare 2018 Clemson to the Big 12 in any way. Alabama was ahead of Oklahoma something like 31-10 at halftime and was on cruise control in the 2nd half, driving the field and scoring a td every time OU would. Alabama led Oklahoma in offensive statistics too. Though Alabama actually moved the ball pretty good against Clemson, they were much better than OU in the red zone and their offense was much better too.

No. Jones first play was 7:52 of the 4th - Check play-by-play on ESPN

I will take your word for it, but after pulling him so early last year, I wouldn't mind if Saban gives him more time this year.

edit to say that after his injury vs Arkansas, it was reasonable to sit him down after the game was in hand, but early last season he could have been building some stats. You know, like against the weak competition early in the year.

What does 2018 have to do with this year? SC has a worse passing defense THIS YEAR than Texas. This is not hard to understand. So far this year, Tua and Burrow are playing at comparable levels. Both look great. Nobody saw that coming.

Because it's still a better measure than 3 games into the new season.

Why? Texas pretty much replaced their entire Defense this year. But I like the way you’re trying to justify your point using meaningless crap.

Currently, he has no top ten wins. Hasn't beat one team in the top ten.

He’s the reason they’re no longer in the top 10, you douche.
