I was told Burrows was the greatest college QB ever. He got outdueled by Mond. I don't think anyone would disagree.

Compare FSU football to Aggie, Trophy Room. National Championships, Heismans, Qll-Americans, etc. Not even close, FSU wins hands down. FSU is the better job.
He pitched a fit for a football facility. He wanted FSU to tear down Dick Howser Stadium and build a Baseball Stadium somewhere else. He wanted the Football only facility built at the Howser location. That was not going to happen
Offenisve line play was atrocious and it was Rick Trckett’s problem. He refused to replace Trickett. Endless list.

I think your mixed up football history with better job.
FSU was a big deal when Bowden was in his prime. Jimbo took you to the same peak for a couple years.
But as you mentioned facilities are lacking and it can’t be fixed with your set up. You plans for a football only facility brings you up to average. You made a terrible hire and you’re hoping to fix it by pulling from Memphis. It might work. It might not. Not a proven hire at all. Then you factor in fanbase, money, conference, etc and you’re still 2nd or 3rd tier.

As to facilities as of right now, FSU is in the Top 15, and the football only facility that has been approved by the Boosters will only move them up. And you Aggies of all people know of the crap shoot on hiring a head coach.
FSU would not swap Trophy Rooms with the Aggies. NFL Number 1 draft pics, FSU. FSU tops you in bowl appearances and wins. And to top it all off, FSU started D-1 football in 1947. Yall got a lot of catching up to do.

Also it has been proven you can win championships at Fsu but Texas A&M not so much. You have all the resources to win at the highest level. You just haven't done it yet. Fsu is the best job if you want to win championships and Texas A&M is the best job if you are concerned with making the most money but might not win jack.
