Legally, can’t pay for the recruit to come to the school (but that is what people are doing),That isn’t how NIL was designed.

Saban didn’t refer to Jimbo specifically but Jimbo is taking it personally because Saban is complaining about what Jimbo is doing. Although Saban is doing it as well (and Jimbo made sure to point that out).

I think Sabans issue and he is correct is NIL wasn’t meant for what’s going on now. It was a way for players to individually make money on their personal NIL but it was not intended for schools to set up NIL deals to attract players to their university. Saban is correct the larger schools are going to destroy any competitive balance that exists in college football.

The recruits getting big nil money prior to playing a single snap is not how this is supposed to go. This is a can of worms that’s gonna get more ugly before it calms down.

You guys sound like a bunch of libtards. Typical spin and deflection. I'll credit most of you for knowing that JF was sick and tired of hearing about NIL cheating from Joey Freshwater and Saint Nick, among many others. He was sick of the hypocrisy, and defamation of his coaches and recruits, He was defending them and the university and not just threatening to expose other coaches.

Problem is he mentioned at least one coach who didn’t say anything about the 30 million. That was an internet user who posted that which he mentions. Jimbo shouldn’t have called out any coaches that didn’t call out aTm.
