How does this look bad for LSU? He was coming in 2015 until the president stopped negotiations and they kept Miles. Jimbo didn’t want to deal with LSU in 2016 because of that.
I wouldn’t want Jimbo right now if i had a choice. Too many bridges burned, poor performance, etc. The guy made his players sign promise contracts stating that they would “play hard” and if they didn’t sign it they wouldn’t play. I wouldn’t want that guy representing LSU.
It may work, so congrats to A&M. I look forward to seeing him every November coaching against Eddy O

Jury is still out on Jimbo. It’s amazing how much can change in a year. FSU should never look the way they did this year. I’m guessing that’s why Jimbo bailed.

It is what it is. Very solid hire. Jimbo is a damn good coach.
With Mullen at UF, Fisher at A&M, and what looks like a very solid hire in Starkville with Moorhead, the SEC has significantly upgraded the coaching talent in this league.

This is where I’m at tbh. I’m not sold one way or the other that he’s the answer to take the program to the next level, but I’m genuinely thrilled that the AD/Boosters have decided to go all in and make a big hire.

all of your booster and admin seemingly on the same page. That must be nice.
LSU and Tenner certainly can't say that. Both programs can afford the same contract yall just gave Fisher, but too many "me" people involved.
