twice, at least. LSU tried for 2 years to hire Jimbo Fisher.

On the plus side, the crime rate in Tallahassee is way down.

Good point.

I would love to know if the rate has changed in Cottage Station.

Good coaches aren't going to want that job after the way they treated Les Miles.

Assaults on the disabled is way up I hear. And stores are reportedly missing a lot of crab legs. Women are still safe to walk down the streets of College Station unmolested, unless they look like boys.

I'm unsure what you are questioning. They way things were handled were messy, unrealistic and embarrassing for LSU.

JA was a nightmare and completely botched the entire thing. Highlighted with the hire of Coach O.

Getting a new AD was a step in the right direction, but the stain is still there.

You implied they did Miles "dirty" or something though.

I haven't read the article yet, but is this the writer from Tampa that really got pissed when Jimbo left? He went all-in on the "no way anyone leaves the football temple that is FSU" mantra and it blew up in his face. He was really salty for awhile afterwards.

And he will probably leave A&M in a similar situation also.

You mean letting the guy run his outdated offense, and the program, into the ground? Then paying him millions to fish all day? Who wouldn't want that?

Man, all those aggie jokes that we used to tell in the 80s have really started to make a lot more sense in recent years.

If Fisher leaves College Station in a similar mess as he left FSU, then they have no one to blame but themselves. Coach Sumlin did a great job of building the program on a solid foundation.

And how did they thank him? By driving a good family man to alcoholism, then shite canning his arse.

LSU's offense has gotten worse. LSU scored more points in a single game against Alabama in their last 3 games than Coach O has managed in 3 years total.

And your program has gotten to the state where the LSU/Alabama game isn't even in prime-time anymore.

Your current AD is the one who signed that deal.

I don't even know what all this means, but if you're trying to say somewhere in here that I supported O being hired, then you're crazy.

You hired Coach O because that is the state of your program.

While he was at A&M. Soooo what point are you trying to make? Even Joe Alleva told Jimbo to pound sand when he asked LSU for comparable.

Woodward knew he'd have to throw the bank at a coach while at A&M. A&M football is a much, much weaker value proposition than LSU football.
