A little more on Labhart.
Essentially he was a good HS athlete from a small town like so many kids are. Gary Blair (Women' BBall coach) has a group of essentially the best REC Basketball men's players that scrimmage with his Women's team and Labhart did that his Freshman year. The next year he decided to walk on to the football team.
Really didn't hear of him until late last year. He was just one of many kids that worked hard to try and get a shot. Once he did he performed well and got more and more chances. He got put on scholly this year. One thing that helped him tremendously was he knew he would have to work to see the field so he learned all of the WR positions so he became the most flexible WR we had and the coaches could just plug him in anywhere. He runs great routes, has excellent hands, and just works his tail off. Apparently he looked into applying for an extra year of eligibility but changed his mind so he is done.
Another interesting story is Darrell Walker. He had no real scholly offers out of HS and basically walked on at the local JUCO. He steadily became a really good WR and got the notice of the A&M coaching staff who offered him a scholly. He played sparingly last year and this year has been a solid starter all season and made the TD catch on JFF's last throw.
Both those guys beat out a bunch of 4 Star Frosh WR's for their PT even though out of HS neither of them were likely even a 2 Star. Just great stories of hard work paying off.

He went from Georgia to Miami to LA.
He'll be back in CS this week.
Announcement will happen then.

Trying to get the ink from those early enrollees so they won't bolt when he announces.

If that is all he is coming back for, he needs to be real and take the money and run.

Not nearly as scared of him without Evans to throw it up to.
