Mike Leach never threaten TT with spilling the NCAA beans on the Athletic Dept if he didn't get his way. You can sue, but don't threaten to expose your own wrongdoings. Nobody will touch him if he does. Look at Hugh Freeze and how the SEC is treating him, and he never threatened Ole Miss.

If Pruitt shows that he reported incidents to compliance and they/AD never self reported to SEC and NCAA then UT fooked. If during discovery incidents happened that he was not aware of he can plead ignorance. The coach can get a show cause but ultimately it is the university that gets screwed especially when the coach is employed by an NFL team.
UT is trash and will never be able to attract a quality coach. Every SEC team is a better destination other than Vandy. UT is not in the top 50 after this debacle except maybe for a loyalist. A 4 year contract in any power 5 is gonna play 2.5 plus million a year minimum. That is somewhat generational wealth money. Having to deal with less BS and a hostile environment such like Vols is t worth the extra couple of million for anyone with sanity because if successful there will be 50 other opportunities within 4-6 years to pay you more
