Does anybody think Jeremy Johnson is/will be better than the Nick Marshall though?
Marshall torched and ran on Alabama. I don't think Johnson would have been as effective vs Bama.
Johnson said Nick Marshall will win Heisman before season started

Jeremy Johnson is about 35 lbs short of being the brute of a running threat that is Cardale Jones. Johnson is actually more of the typical pro-style QB at 6'6" and 215 lbs.

Yes. They are two very different quarterbacks but Jeremy will play in the league. Jeremy is a pocket passer who will pick defenses apart. He is a slightly above average runner. Marshall had a huge arm but not accurate and a very good runner. Gus will adjust his offense accordingly like he has done at every stop.
ETA JJ is also very calm in the pocket, knows his reads and progressions...he will be great

Johnson has put on at least 15 lbs since being at Auburn.

UGA fans are not used to players being developed once they're out of HS

OK but... Please don't tell me you think Jeremy Johnson would have played better against Alabama than Marshall

If JJ is soo good, why didn't he play all year????

Impossible to say but he probably would have picked Bama's secondary apart

They're also not used to them finishing their eligibility at UGA either.

Cardale Jones wouldn't have seen the field if not for 2 injuries. Tom Brady got his chance due to an injury as well.

Honestly Gus could have made a case for JJ starting over Nick Marshall & we would have been good with it. Our passing game will be on a level next year we haven't had since Jason Campbell.

Should we leave this thread since you are now talking to yourself?

Will be unstoppable with an air raid passing attack to Duke Williams balanced out with a stong running game with Roc Thomas and Jovon.

He dun' accidentally trolled himself

Because he needed to develop in the running game which is majority of our offense.

Jeremy is not as physical as Cardale, but much better as a passer. I am very optimistic about the season!
I do not know many quarterbacks who are as physical as that monster.
