"I then asked him, 'What about your dad? Have you told Peaches?' He said, 'I've told him, but he won't listen to me. He's telling me that I'm going to mess everything up, that I can't do it, that I can't go to Auburn.'"
That quote came from his high school coach. He said in 27 years that this is the first time he didn't fax in his player's LOI. Something weird definitely went down.
Sounds like Brent made his committment to Bama for over a year.... And, he flipped to AU for 2-3 weeks - and his dad told him he needed to honor his original committment.
As far as the HS coach? What the hell has he got to do with any of this?
Do you personally know Doug Goodwin, or his coaching history?

Link? They might have wanted to go to AU for a week, or even a day, but they wanted to go to Bama for a over a year at least.

Yeah, if he was sooo unhappy why in the world would he switch his committment on national tv to AU?
He knew the hell he was about to encounter from his family and bammers.

I don't think there were any violations in this fiasco.

So, you have no questions about a Bama fan taking BC to the beach for two days following his Bama visit (causing him to miss a basketball game), but you want to know what a players high school coach has to do with the player's recruitment? You have been hanging out in ATPB land again haven't you?

Agreed. The burden of proof is on Lee. He had better put up, or shutup.
He's trying to put up --- he's just using a fellow Aub with the credibility of Shane to verify his claims.

To preach family all the damn time not too many au fans seem to think a parent or guardian should have a say in their kids college choice. Au fans call them immature kids when they get arrested, but think a parent or guardian should stay the frick out of their college decision.
