I agree about the mutual understanding. It typically lasts about 5 years at a time, or until there is staff turnover and someone on that new staff doesn't "play ball".
I disagree that "Bammer" and the "Bammer driven media" are AU's problem now. We are in a different age of reporting. The internet and its immediacy of info has changed things. Reporters like SBB are digging all the time so they can scoop something and generate page views (on nonsubcription sites page views are king b/c they lead to ad impressions. ad impressions are sold in groups of 1,000..not one at a time).
I can confidently say that, based on my contact's info, no coach on the bama staff has initiated a conversation with the NCAA about AU. Keyword being innitiated.

Two things:
Jeff Lee is likely to get AU dumped in the shitter if he keeps bringing up Calloway or Kouandjio.
He made a mistake in his rant that shows he made this up.
Is this the same Jeff Lee who sent tweets to D. Carter the weekend he committed? Embarassing to AU. Rivals should get rid of him, very very unprofessional.

That has been confirmed as a fake account. Although, I wouldn't really be shocked if it wasn't. As someone else said, Jeff Lee is an Auburn fan first and a pseudo journalist second.

The Alabama media hasn't really been driving the bus on AU anyway. It's the national media that's been the lead on this all along.
Of course, I know Alabama and the REC controls every aspect of the national media.

I think the only thing that can be confirmed is that Jeffery Lee uses the Auburn Rivals twitter account. I don't think it has been proven that Jeffrey Lee only uses that one account.

This is the one I don't have many specifics on. two sources have two similar, yet different, takes on it. This is why I said Lee should pipe down or else enough noise would be made of this to get all on the same page...
former SEC coach told me that he believes the NCAA is already looking at this and he said they will soon have enough to "nail Trooper's arse".
Another contact told me that "everyone knows NCAA is looking at Trooper in Thib, LA too, but they'll find the smoking gun on Trooper if they dig deeper with the DB from Miami. That may be what gets his arse fired and show caused."
sorry I don't have specifics in terms of what was done, but the implication was it was handled sloppily.

Well, really these are all pretty much one and the same. They quote each other on their stories and rehash each others work.

I think I would hate AU about 50 percent less if Troop was gone.
