Comparisons like this are silly. He isn't competing against the past 13 Heisman Trophy winners. He is competing against this years players.

That said, I still think he should get the Heisman.

Not sure why so many on this SEC board are so triggered that JD is about to win it and you’re pulling for a QB from a West coast school. Some crazy shite

Probably because this is an SEC board and LSU fans are equating it to their team winning a national title in the way they talk about it.

I won't shed a tear or give a yell one way or the other. I think JD should win. But you bring it on yourselves.

Why is that? Because Oregon is still playing for something while LSU is third in their division?

Should they be though?

Oregon has one loss. So do TX and Bama

Why did Oregon, who played 2 top 50 teams, get the benefit of the doubt from voters?

The PAC 12 was said to be the toughest conference this year, heck they still try to spout off about it. Look at how many of the SEC are In the Top 25. Look at the wins, and then remember Mississippi State beat Arizona;

Nix will win if Oregon beats Washington.

Yes, but where does he rank in TD catches and YAC? APY?

It’s good enough for me to have no doubts who the best player in the country is, and to have watched him dominate in person. Couldn’t care less about who is voted prom king.

You guys are eat up with the affirmation, reaffirmation and exponential affirmation. I have never seen such lobbying for a popularity contest among several gifted athletes.

especially for an award that's complained about on an annual basis as being bullshite. I'd rather have the Maxwell trophy. But yeah you LSU fans keep sweating over a trophy they gave to Jason fricking White who became a farmer 2 years after getting drafted.

The Bo story of him being asked to gtfo of Auburn, moving to the O on the West Coast, winning the qb job and playing for the conference championship will be hard for the lsu qb to overcome.
Not impossible but hard.
Ps. Think the shoe company will spend any money putting their guy out there?

I don’t think he’ll win it. I the the press love for Bo Nix will be too much to overcome.

I think JD absolutely should win, but all too often the best player doesn’t.

I'm 100% convinced all of this love for Oregon and Washington is because everybody feels sorry for the Pac 12 and wants to throw their conference a bone before it dies. Oregon being ranked ahead of Texas makes no sense to me. Nix being considered the Heisman frontrunner over Daniels is illogical too. Daniels has the same passing stats as Nix with 1,000 more rushing yards. How is Nix having the better season?

Remember when Milroe outplayed him and lsu lost in T-town? Good times. I want him to lose in the closest Heisman vote ever so I can relish in the lsu fanbase melt. It will be beyond epic.

I love the pic of that hit. It is textbook of how you should do it. Clearly there was corndog money going to the refs to make that roughing the passer call.
